10 Work From Home Jobs for Stay at Home Moms – Whether you’re looking for ways to make a little extra cash or earn a full-time income, there are lots of opportunities to make money as a stay-at-home mom.
A little bit of extra income could help you contribute to your family finances, pay off debt, build an emergency fund, or save for a well-deserved vacation.
When I decided to become a stay at home mom, I had the determination to find a work from home job.
In the beginning, it wasn’t easy for me to find an opportunity that would allow me to work from home and take care of my little one at the same time.
With time, I was able to find a work from home job that I really enjoy!
Some side hustles ideas I’ve tried in the past were selling clothes online and answering legit surveys.

Answering surveys for money was my favorite way to make quick cash. Although it won’t make you rich, it is a fun way to make money from home in your spare time.

Survey Junkie is good at paying for every qualified survey you take and rewarding the time you spend on it. It won’t replace a full-time job but it will help you make extra money in your free time to help with bills.

Today, I’ve put together a list of ten ways to make money as a stay at home mom!
1. Proofreader
Proofreading is a great option to consider as a work-from-home job. As a proofreader, you will review material before it goes public.
You will make sure that the material you review is free of errors in grammar, syntax, spelling, and formatting.
There are many companies, especially online businesses, that hire people with these particular skills to review their content for errors.

5. Survey Taker
Taking surveys is one of the easiest ways to make extra money in your spare time. Many companies are willing to pay you for giving an opinion about their products.
You can earn a bit of extra cash by answering surveys, reading emails, watching videos, playing games, and more. Here are some companies that are legitimate and will give you an extra bonus for signing up and confirming your email:

6. Get Paid to Shop
Did you know that you can get paid for shopping? Ibotta (which I love). Ibotta is a free app that lets you earn cash back on groceries, clothing, pharmaceuticals, meals out,t and more!
Last month, I withdrew around $200 from my personal Ibotta account. It took me a couple of months to get to this amount of money, but I know it will help with some expenses at home.

Another way to get paid to shop is by using Rakuten. Rakuten allows you to get cash back for purchases you make online through its links.
It has a great variety of online stores to choose from where you can earn cash back. If you have a particular online store that you buy from, chances are that it will be listed on Rakuten.
To make money by shopping online, you will need to sign in through Rakuten first, find the store you would like to purchase from, click its link, and purchase your items as you regularly do.
After this process, you will earn money from your purchases, and Rakuten will send a check to your mailing address!
Basically, Rakuten gives you cash back for shopping through its links. You can also use discounts and coupons while shopping online.

7. Sell Items
Selling things on eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook will allow you to earn money quickly for a good profit. Years ago, I used to make money by selling clothes and other items on eBay.
My strategy was purchasing items from garage sales or thrift stores in decent condition and selling them for a good profit online.
Also, flipping items for profit is another lucrative business. Usually, people in this type of business find items to re-sell for profit at flea markets, garage sales, or thrift stores. You can learn more about flipping items here.
8. Start an At-Home Day Care
Opening an at-home daycare is a great opportunity to earn money from home as a stay-at-home-mom.
You can offer part-time or full-time daycare services. Many parents are looking for partial daycares at a reasonable price. Depending on the state you live in, you might need to fill out some documentation requirements for a license.
9. Etsy
Etsy is an excellent place to make extra money from home as a mom.
If you have a hobby with a crafty talent, then you could open a store and sell your skills or products through Etsy. Etsy is a great place to find unique crafty products from around the world.
With Etsy, you are not limited to selling crafts–you could also sell digital products! You can check Etsy here and see if it is the right fit for you!
10. Blogger
If you love to write and have the desire to help people, then blogging is a great way to make extra income from home or anywhere.
Although it is not a get-rich-quick job, it can actually allow you to earn a decent income with time. I became a full-time blogger this year, and in my fourth month, I was making a full-time income with my blog! It takes time a hard work but it is definitely worth it!
